 
The ‘Maximum Action Spod Mix’ gets its name from the Maximum Action Pellets it contains. This is a very versatile and instant spod mix which will remain in the spod until it hits the water.
I see so many anglers spodding away and leaving a long trail of ‘spod spill’ (bait) all the way through the swim right where their lines are going to be running. This is a far from ideal situation if the fish you are trying to get feeding are wary of lines. On most of the waters I fish these days the carp are paranoid about lines and if they come into contact with them they quickly leave the area.
You can add your own bits and pieces to the Maximum Action Spod Mix if required, although it works great on its own.
Preparation is simplicity itself - simply cover the mix in boiling water before you fish then leave to cool - it will be ready to use once it’s cool.
You can vary the amount of water used during preparation depending upon what you want to do with it. You can mix it quite stiff with less water and use it for simply plugging the end of a spod to prevent boilies and the like coming out, or by mixing it in a softer slop you can fill your spod with it and create a cloudy scent trail over your hook baits.
Adding 1.5 litre of boiling water to 1kg of MASM gives a good starting consistency. If you require it ‘sloppy’ for surface to bottom scent and visual trail add more water. If you require it for plugging the open end of the spod to prevent spod spill add less to suit.
Since its release we have had several baitboat users tell us of their success using it mixed in with their usual bits and bobs.
As I said at the start... a very versatile bait which I’m sure most will find their own special use for.
